PlayPR: Play and Performance Interfaces for Culture and Games - People

Leah Maestri

I'm a MA candidate at Simon Fraser University's School of Interactive Arts and Technology. I'm currently researching the processes and interactions by which people repair broken objects in their home as a way to inform interaction design. I will be graduating from my Master's in the spring (2012). My primary interest as a design researcher is understanding the inherent creativity of people as a lens for informing interaction design and HCI practice. In my future work I wish to explore how creativity manifests in our everyday contexts, whether that be in the home, work place, creative communities, and/or places of leisure.
